​Amanda is a PhD student in the Department of Biology (since Fall 2020). She earned a B.S. in Biology at Ohio State University - Lima. Olivia is a PhD student in the Department of Biology (since Fall 2022). She completed a MS at UNCG in 2022. She is from Ann Arbor, Michigan, and earned a B.S. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Michigan (2019). Wade is a PhD student in the Department of Biology (since Fall 2023). He earned an M.S. in Natural Resources at Humboldt State University (2020). He is interested in ectoparasites of mammals and birds, phylogenetic inference, and disease ecology. Email: wmburris[at]uncg.edu

Kristin is a PhD student in the Department of Biology (since Fall 2023). She earned a B.S. in Natural Resources and Environmental Science at the University of Kentucky. Bailey is an MS student in the Department of Biology (since Fall 2025). She earned a B.A. in Sociology at the University of Kansas, but an interest in taxidermy brought her into world of ecological and evolutionary research.  She is primarily interested in host-parasite interactions in small mammal communities, and museum-based mammal research.
