Linda Campbell has an HND in Biological Sciences and a BSc (with Distinction) in Biotechnology and has extensive experience as Research Technician in NHS diagnostic laboratories as well as in a number of cutting-edge research laboratories both in the School of Life Sciences and in the Medical School at the University of Dundee.

Her main project is generation of molecular biology constructs for projects relating to epidermolysis bullosa simplex and pachyonychia congenita gene therapy, transgenics, gene function analysis and drug discovery in the laboratory. She also carries out much of the genotyping for the many in vivo model systems generated and maintained by the group. In addition, Linda looks after the general day to day management of the laboratory.
